Congrats to the Peglegs on another win over HS for Construction 3-1. Jared Asch threw a complete game 2 hitter with 80 pitches. Not only did Jared throw a great game but helped himself with 2 doubles and a walk and 2 RBI’s.
Michael Gillow put the nail in the coffin with his 3rd home run of the year. The defense was perfect with 0 errors and Jeremy Rubin gunned down a runner at 2nd.
The Peglegs are 9-5 on the season with 2 league games left.
Next game is Monday vs John Bowne HS at the Parade Grounds, start time is 4:30pm.

Stuyvesant PEGLEGS Varsity Defeats HS For Construction In Low-Scoring Affair
Both teams were strong on the hill Friday, but Stuyvesant PEGLEGS Varsity defeated HS for Construction 3-1. Jared Asch allowed just two hits to HS for Construction.
Stuyvesant PEGLEGS Varsity fired up the offense in the second inning. Stuyvesant PEGLEGS Varsity scored one run when Asch doubled.
Asch got the win for Stuyvesant PEGLEGS Varsity. He surrendered one run on two hits over seven innings, striking out seven.
Kelly took the loss for HS for Construction. He surrendered three runs on six hits over five innings, striking out two and walking zero.
Stuyvesant PEGLEGS Varsity tallied one home run on the day. Michael Gillow put one out in the sixth inning.
Asch led Stuyvesant PEGLEGS Varsity with two hits in two at bats.
