Thank you all for your kind thoughts, support and condolences—the turnout was amazing. We said goodbye to Matty on Tuesday at St John’s where a crowd of 50-plus joined in a rousing chorus of “Take me out to the ball game”! The Stuyvesant Family will forever be in our hearts!

Words can not express the sadness and loss of such an amazing individual. His love, dedication and devotion to so many Stuyvesant HS students, to Stuyvesant Athletics, and especially to the Stuy Baseball program, was endless. He will be sorely missed by the many student athletes whose life he touched.
