After being down 2-1, our JV came back to score 18 unanswered runs in a shortened game. Pitching, Max Mah handled a strong lineup with plenty of extra-base power as our OF can attest, and battled/K’d 9, only walking 1. Story was our clutch hitting (9 H in 4 turns at-bat) including an early 2-out double by Julian Cunningham, 2 RBI triples from Elias Bernstein and a solo HR from Julian Singer. Max scored 2Rs & had 2 RBI, Liam Kronman had 2 RBI, Jooahn Sur tripled in 2 runs & scored 2Rs. Ben Zenker had 2 hits, scored 2 Rs and Luca Bielski scored 2 runs. Stats went on and on. Guys came to play today, what can we say? Final score, 19-2.

Stuyvesant Peglegs JV Takes The Game Over Graphic Communication Arts In A Blow-Out Victory, 19-2

Stuyvesant had all cylinders firing on offense on Thursday, winning big over Graphic Communication Arts 19-2 Graphic Arts captured the lead in the first inning.
Stuyvesant took the lead for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Julian Cunningham doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Elias Bernstein tripled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, Max Mah singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, and an error scored one run for Stuyvesant Peglegs JV.
Stuyvesant tallied eight runs in the third inning. The Peglegs big bats were led by Jooahn Sur, Masaka Mizuno, Bernstein, Mah, Julian Singer, and Ben Zenker, all knocking in runs in the inning.
Mah was the winning pitcher for Stuyvesant. He went four innings, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out nine and walking one.

Stuyvesant Peglegs JV tallied nine hits. Zenker and Bernstein each had multiple hits for Stuyvesant . Bernstein and Zenker each managed two hits to lead Stuyvesant. Stuyvesant didn’t commit a single error in the field. Luca Bielski had the most chances in the field with nine.
Joel went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Graphic Communication Arts in hits.
