The PEGLEGS got things moving in the second inning. Khyber Sen’s sac fly scored one run for Stuyvesant.

The PEGLEGS tallied four runs in the fifth inning. The PEGLEGS batters contributing to the big inning included Michael Gillow, Jeremy Rubin and Jared Asch all driving in runs in the frame.

Asch pitched the PEGLEGS to victory. He allowed three hits and one unearned run over six innings, striking out five. Matthew Deutsch threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Stuyvesant offense scattered eight hits in the game. Gillow and Asch all managed multiple hits for Stuyvesant Gillow led the PEGLEGS with three hits in four at bats.

Defensively the Peglegs turned two double plays and

Stuyvesant PEGLEGS Varsity Claims Blow-Out Victory Over Norman Thomas, 11-1

Stuyvesant asserted their will over Norman Thomas on their way to an easy 11-1 victory.

Stuyvesant opened up scoring in the second inning. Khyber Sen’s sac fly scored one run for the Peglegs.
Stuyvesant tallied four runs in the fifth inning. Michael Gillow, Jeremy Rubin, and Jared Asch powered the big inning with RBIs.
Asch led the Peglegs to victory on the pitcher’s mound. He surrendered one run on three hits over six innings, striking out five. Matthew Deutsch threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Tavarez took the loss for Norman Thomas. He surrendered one run on one hit over one and one-third innings, striking out one.
Sanchez started the game for Norman Thomas. He allowed five hits and eight runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out two.
Stuyvesant had eight hits in the game. Gillow and Asch all managed multiple hits for Stuyvesant. Gillow went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Stuyvesant in hits.
Rosado led Norman Thomas with two hits in three at bats.
