They Peglegs stayed hot on Thursday, dispatching the Wildcats in an easy 11-1 victory. Starting pitcher Paul Liou had his best outing of the year, going five innings and allowing one run on one hit, with nine K’s.

Ethan Kirschner would come in to close out the game, shutting the door in the sixth inning.

At the plate, Stuy was led by two hits apiece by Axel Reiss, Julian Duran and Sam Levine. Reiss had a first inning triple and three RBI on the day. The Peglegs were errorless in the field. On the bases, they ran at will, swiping seven bases on the day. Levine, Jeremy Lee and Jared Virasami had two each.

The Peglegs are now 8-2 in a very competitive AAA Western division.
