Axel Riess drove in six runs in Stuyvesant’s 11-1 victory over Harry Van Arsdale at the Pier Thursday.
Axel doubled, homered and walked on the day.
Mantas Kempinas had another stellar day on the mound throwing a complete game 4 hitter. Mantas struck out 12 and walked 0.
Jared Virasami also had a great day at the plate with 4 RBI’s and driving in the the mercy walkoff runs with a 3 run triple in the bottom of the 6th.
The Peglegs are now 3-1 on the season and have 3 games next week before the holiday vacation.
